A well-prepared ocean shipment starts before a container reaches the port. Bring the commercial, cargo and delivery requirements together so every party works from the same shipment plan.

Logistics guide

A well-prepared ocean shipment starts before a container reaches the port. Bring the commercial, cargo and delivery requirements together so every party works from the same shipment plan.

Build a clear shipment plan

  • Share the origin, destination, cargo description, package count, dimensions, gross weight and cargo-ready date when requesting a quotation.
  • Review the proposed route, equipment, service scope and exclusions. Confirm who arranges collection, documentation, destination handling and final delivery.
  • Before loading, check booking details and document cut-offs. After departure, track milestones and confirm the release requirements and delivery appointment with the receiving party.

Before you proceed

Keep one current shipment reference and a named contact for exceptions. If quantities or dates change, update the forwarder before acting on an earlier booking.
